This is a simple DIY project that I threw together last year for a fun family night.
I cut some branches from a tree in my backyard and spray painted them white. Then I went down to Micheals and bought a package of foam hearts that were all different sizes. I also bought a couple of packages of wooden hearts, Valentine words and some silver string. I hot glued the string on the back of the wooden hearts and words.
The kids used their creativity to make their own ornaments. We took off the backing on one heart and stuck the string to the back of it. Then stuck another heart that is the same size to the other side so that it looks nice from both sides.
